As part of its support for the arts and culture, Energía Austral has developed the Austral Film and Theatre Programme, which contributes to the quality of life of people in Puerto Aysén and Coyhaique by offering plays and films for all ages. 

Since its launch in 2008, some 30 films and six plays have been seen by around 30,000 spectators. This programme is implemented in alliance with a score of charities which sell the tickets and use the proceeds to finance their activities.
