Energía Austral actively promotes the quest for effective ways of providing the Aysén Region with more accessible and cheaper electricity. 

In the particular case of its project, Energía Austral has decided to contribute to the Region’s electricity supply by setting aside for this purpose between 12 and 15 MW of the Blanco project’s installed capacity, an amount equivalent to 29% of the Region’s present installed capacity.
